Saying So Long to Summer….

I want to thank  everyone who actively participated in our Teen Summer Reading Program this year! I personally had alot of fun learning to make soda and taffy with you guys – that Ms. Patty is quite the mixologist!  We’d love to see you guys during the school year, so please drop in and tell us what you’re reading (oh, wait, you’ll be too busy with HOMEWORK! Ha Ha!)

Raffle Winners & Prizes

So our latest winner of a GameStop gift card was CJ Alessandro! This Friday (the 13th I might add!) will be our Grand Prize Drawing – but instead of 1 prize, as I said before, we will have two extra because you guys have been so great about participating this summer!

Winding Down…But Not Done Yet!

So thanks to everyone who came to the fun Taffy Pull yesterday! We had a blast making our own saltwater taffy – some mishaps, some successes but fun either way! Both Ms Patty’s and Ms Eileen’s kids were on hand (mostly to take some of the candy home)!

Last up is the Make-A-Frame from a CD Case program on Wed, August 11 at 11am.  What a perfect way to showcase a pic of your favorite summer memory (as we prepare for..dare I say…back to school!) And you’ll get (5) pool passes for the finale raffle drawing on Fri, August 13.

Speaking of which, instead of 1 grand prize, we decided to get 3 different gift card prizes so more of you could have a chance to win!
