FOURTH BOOK ALSO FOUND!!!

Congrats to Anya Vrabie who found Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer at the Marlborough Town Clerk’s Office! All books have been found and the 4 winners will get to keep the books and get 5 more raffle entries! Thanks for playing! (Ms Patty and I are bummed b/c we don’t have to come up with any more clues!!!)

THIRD BOOK FOUND! & DON’T CALL ANY LAW OFFICES!

So EMMA FILOSA has found our third LOST book, Delirium, which was located at It’s So Ranunculus Florist Shop! Great job Emma!

There is still one more book – Theodore Boone, Kid Lawyer, left out there. HOWEVER – here’s an additional clue: IT IS NOT LOCATED AT A LAW OFFICE! Apparently the two law offices in town have been fielding alot of calls from you guys and are getting annoyed at us! Not your fault, you are just being good detectives! Don’t bother calling around anywhere – the place you need to go requires you to walk in and ASK for the book! ;)

Just an update – 2 of the books from the new challenge have been located – but there are still 2 more to find! Take a look at the page “Books: Lost in Marlborough” for info on how you can find them and where the other two were located.

Don’t forget – 4pm today for tweens and teens – JEWELRY WORKSHOP!

“BOOKS: LOST IN MARLBOROUGH” GAME BEGINS!

Ok all, so the new game has begun – check out the rules, etc on the seperate page titled “Books: LOST in Marlborough.” It may seem pretty tough this week, but we will give a new set of clues for the next 3 Mondays – each getting easier until all 4 books are found. If you have questions, you can ask Ms Patty or Ms Eileen at RML, or shoot me a message here on the blog.

GEOCACHING!!!

Monday, July 18 at 6pm – come to RML to learn all about this international pasttime! RML friend Kim Danek will be on hand to teach you all you need to know – supplies, how to register online, and how to go about finding these treasures! We will register online as RML and you can use the library laptops to learn mapping techniques.

Then, on Wednesday, July 20 at 6pm, we will meet to find some geocaches together as we hike near Blackledge Falls in Glastonbury. Parents must get you to the hike and can choose to hike with us or wait at the meeting spot. Please register on Monday or call us so we know you are coming!

Last Week’s Raffle Winner & New Game Starts Monday!

So our first weekly raffle winner was: NATALIE DANEK – she wins a gift card to Barnes & Noble – congrats! She earned entries by coming to a program, writing reviews on here, and by playing our games. So get going everyone – you can be this week’s winner to be drawn Friday.

Which leads me to another point – a fun new game starting Monday! It’s called BOOKS: Lost in Marlborough :(   – we have hidden 4 books around town – they can be anywhere! But each week, we will give you a clue to the locations. The clues will get easier each week. You can only find 1 book per person. You get to keep the book and then earn 5 raffle entries as well! So if you like letterboxing or geocaching, or just solving mysteries – this is the game for you! Watch on Monday for the info.

And lastly, if you are confused about this past Fridays LOST in the USA post, just READ what I wrote about myself being sick. The clues are found in there!!!

EXTREME FRISBEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

Ok, here is the program for you guys! 2-time world freestyle frisbee champion Todd Brodeur has agreed to return to RML (he was here for kickoff in a family show) for a WORKSHOP just for TEENS!
WEDNESDAY, JULY 13 FROM 5-6PM – FOLLOWED BY PIZZA!!!!!
He will be here to personally teach you guys some of the tricks that made him a world champion! This is quite an opportunity you won’t want to miss.
(if you can drop me a line or call to tell me you are coming, I can judge how much pizza to get, but it is not necessary to register or anything – just come!)
