Teen Summer Reading Program 2009

WHERE ART THOU?

How to play: Sign up at the Richmond Library and we’ll give you information on how to play.  Earn ‘MarlBucks’ to redeem for prizes at the Teen Silent Auction, Fri, Augst 14 – Fri, August 21. Prizes include an iPod, gift cards, and all things TEEN!  Students entering 7th grade or above in the fall may participate.

Ways to earn MarlBucks:

1. Complete and hand in Teen Book Reviews – forms available in the Library ($1)

2. Write a review of a recent book you’ve read and post it here on the Teen Blog  – you must include your name to get credit ($1)

(Both ways 1 & 2 will earn you a chance to win (or lose!) MarlBucks by playing “Don’t Forget the Lyrics” at the Library. (Surrender your MarlBuck to play -$5 for a correct answer)

3. Attend a Library program this summer ($20 MarlBucks) It is your responsibility to let us know you are present at the event.

4. Play ID the CD and figure out the artists from the album covers. Game sheets available at RML and soon on blog ($20 MarlBucks or less)

5. Play “Catch the Art Thief” on this blog weekly beginning Friday, June 26. Someone on the RML Staff has stolen a priceless work of art from the Wadsworth Atheneum.  It’s you’re job to keep track and figure out who-done-it by the end of the summer. Game sheets available at RML and soon on this blog ($20 MarlBucks)

****You must be registered at RML for the Teen Summer Reading Program in order to recieve MarlBucks and participate in the Auction.
